Lyrically Mused is a fairly new custom knit group. The owner, Constance, is based out of Vidor, Texas. This is my first experience sewing a strike off for Lyrically Mused. Lyrically Mused Fabrics digitally prints on a 95% cotton/5%spandex 220-240 GSM knit with 4-way stretch.
I am so thrilled that I got to sew up a really cool science print and panel. It's so hard to find cool science fabrics. These fabric are available for preorder through August 22 and can be ordered HERE.
I was sent 2 childs panels, an adult panel, and a fat half of the science print. The child's panels are approximately 18" by 18" and the adult panels are 28" by 36" (fat half).
For one child's panel, I made the Duck Butt Designs Panel Pocket Tee. This was the first time I had made the Panel Pocket Tee.
I just love the quote on this panel.
The stars on the back are from Fabric Stache. They are currently on sale for $12.50/yard and can be found HERE.
The solid Navy cotton lycra for the sleeves is from Made Whimsy. I love their solids since they are 12 oz and only $7/yard. You can buy it HERE.
With the other panel and the rest of the science print, I made the Duck Butt Designs Treasure Pocket Tee.
I think all these science related images on the main print are super cool. I love that there are so many colors which makes it easy to find something to coordinate with it.
Since I ran out of the Lyrically Mused science print, I had to use some equally awesome "Science is Cool" print from Zenith & Quasar fabric.
For my adult panel - I decided to keep on the Duck Butt Designs band wagon and made the Really Awesome Women's Raglan - aka RAWR.
For my shirt, I used the Nebulous print from Zenith & Quasar as the sleeves and for the back. This print is still available for purchase at retail HERE. Zenith & Quasar prints designs on a super soft brushed poly base. The design is based off a Hubble Telescope image and information on the image can be found HERE.
This is only 1 of 4 panels offered by Lyrically mused. Here are the others.
The pre-order closes on August 22nd.
