I decided that I needed to make a few quilt wall hangings. I want one for my bathroom and thought I might start swapping one out in my entry way with the holidays and seasons. When I saw the tester call from Neurodiverse Creative Chaos Tangled Quilts 2, I messaged Anne to ask her how big the baby size was and if it was small enough for a large wall hanging. I told her I really didn't have time to test a quilt, but I thought the pattern would make a great wall hanging.
Scott Fortunoff (Jaftex President) sent me the black & white "linework" version of Tula Pink's Mineral print. I already had this print in 3 colors (although I bought a new color to use in my wall hanging) and it is one of my favorite prints. So I immediately knew they would be perfect for the 4 color version of the Tangled 2 wall hanging. Did I mention this pattern has 4 variations? There is 2 color, 3 color, 4 color (what I made), and a 5 color version.
This pattern was so quick and easy! I was amazed how it came together. It was like magic as I sewed the blocks together.
I have thought about making this wall hanging double sided. But I'm also eager to finish it up and hang it in my bathroom. I have the perfect spot to put it where I can admire it every day.
The wall hanging pattern also include a pillow size and I think I will be making it next for some throw pillows for the guest bed. The Quilt pattern comes in three sizes baby, throw, and twin. I think it would make a really cute baby quilt and a nice modern throw.
