Zenith and Quasar Fabrics - June Reprints

Y'all should know by now how much I love Zenith & Quasar Fabric. Lilly is doing a small reprint round this month of 9 popular prints. Some of which are my favorites!

Nebulous has to be one of my all time favorite prints! And somehow - this if the first top I have made with this print all over! I have leggings made with this print and used it for sleeves and the back of a top as well. And if you want leggings - Lilly sells them in this print and a few others.

The Everything Your Mama Made and More (EYMM) Piko Top is one of my favorite patterns - so I decided I needed one in the Nebulous print.

I grab for my Piko Tops all the time when I want something comfy, but I can wear it to work with a necklace and slacks and look put together. Here, I'm wearing it with my Greenstyle Creations Chelsea pants made with a Jegging Knit (also from Zenith & Quasar).

The EYMM Piko Top come with multiple hem options, so I decided to make another in the Jellyfish print.

I made the sidetail version for this one.

I really love the look of the sidetail hem from the side.

And if you're thinking you've seen me in a top like this before - it's because I made a dolman top and a tank top in this print before.

Then there is the Neurology print. I bought a yard of this print last year and made my neurologist an infinity scarf with it.

I had a little bit left over and decided to make the Duck Butt Designs Offside Raglan.

I love the unique shape of the sleeves. I think I need to add an HTV design to this one.

This print is Science Rules. It's one of the first prints Lilly ever ran and this is the original run I'm wearing. Lilly sold leggings in this print and those that know me, probably have seen me wearing them.

My tank is the FREE Racerback Tank from So Sew Easy. I would show you the back, but I wasn't wearing a racerback bra and I hacked the pattern a little bit.

This is the only "old" item that I'm showing you. All the shirts above I made TODAY! I woke up full of energy today - which has been very rare for me lately.

I'm showing you this one because I took new photos today and it's one of my favorite items I ever made.

This is another all time favorite print of mine - Carta Marina.

The Carta Marina is a very old map that was made on blocks of wood. The wood blocks don't make a perfectly seamless print, so there are a few spots in the design where you can see where the blocks join, but I think that adds to the charm. You can read about the Carta Marina HERE.

Today, I decided I needed a new shirt made with Carta Marina and picked another favorite patterns - the Halla Patterns Agnes. The Agnes has a boat neck, and I modified this one to have more of a crew neck.

I was able to make a shirt length (1.5 inches removed for my 5' height) with sleeves with one Carta Marina panel - which is 46 inches.

I still have a few Carta Marina maps in my fabric stash, but I might need to order more. I'm hoping one day to make a blanket with one.

Here are the other prints in the June reprint - except the circuits were switched to green based on popular vote.
