Nature's Fabrics Ready for the 4th of July!

Nature's Fabrics has an amazing selection of quality fabrics to get you ready for the 4th of July!

I love this Distressed Red & White striped cotton spandex jersey! The stripes are 7/8" wide and are printed in a way that makes the red stripes look speckled.

The stripes run horizontally and the fabric has two way stretch. I knew I wanted to use a pattern that allowed me to use the stripes going horizontally and vertically.

I chose to make the Shwin Designs Kaleidoscope Top & Dress pattern.

I love the flutter sleeves and relaxed fit. These features make this a nice cool top to wear in the summer. It's perfect to wear to a July 4th cookout.

The fabric is lightweight and has good drape. It's perfect to wear to a July 4th cookout or anytime!

I also got this really fun Geo Stars print.

The Geo Stars are an organic cotton spandex jersey made in Europe. It's so soft and it's 65" wide!

I love that this print is not patriotic colors. It makes it a very ve…

5 out of 4 Patterns Rosanna Peplum and Dress

5 out of 4 Patterns has a new release that is amazing! It's the Rosanna Tank, Tankini, Dress, and Swim Dress. You can make it for swimming or for casual wear.

The first Rosanna I made was with this Ocean Stripe swim knit from Zenith & Quasar fabric.

This swim knit is great and only $4 a yard! The stripes are navy and aqua and I loved playing with them going in different directions.

I made the half circle skirt, peplum length on all the Rosanna's that I made. What I really love is the low scoop back that allows you to add straps - if you want to.

I needed to make some adjustments to the pattern based on my height, and made another one.

This one is also made with fabric from Zenith & Quasar. I used Diatoms on Athletic Brushed Poly and Purple Supplex. This one will be for casual wear this summer.

I love that the Rosanna has princess seams. The side panels are great for adding a bit of solid color with my print. The Rosanna also has the option for a built in shelf bra - wh…

Zenith and Quasar Fabrics - June Reprints

Y'all should know by now how much I love Zenith & Quasar Fabric. Lilly is doing a small reprint round this month of 9 popular prints. Some of which are my favorites!

Nebulous has to be one of my all time favorite prints! And somehow - this if the first top I have made with this print all over! I have leggings made with this print and used it for sleeves and the back of a top as well. And if you want leggings - Lilly sells them in this print and a few others.

The Everything Your Mama Made and More (EYMM)Piko Top is one of my favorite patterns - so I decided I needed one in the Nebulous print.

I grab for my Piko Tops all the time when I want something comfy, but I can wear it to work with a necklace and slacks and look put together. Here, I'm wearing it with my Greenstyle CreationsChelsea pants made with a Jegging Knit (also from Zenith & Quasar).

The EYMMPiko Top come with multiple hem options, so I decided to make another in the Jellyfish print.

I made the sidetail vers…
