But first, I want to talk about the Romy tank. This tank has a flowy option (shown here) and a fitted option. In addition, the tank also has a dress length.
I made this Romy tank with a satin sheen knit that I just love. It's so fun and different.
The v neck on the Romy is a little low, but not too low. I don't flash anyone if I lean over.
The Romy wrap bolero is the perfect laying piece for transitioning from winter to spring. There are two style options for the bolero. This is the gathered lined version. You can also make it unlined with a banded bottom. I'll show you the other style further down.
I should also note that for the sizing of the Romy bolero, you will want to go by your over bust measurement and not full bust.
I see many Romy tanks in my future. I absolutely love the fit of the flowy tank. For my 5' height I removed 1" from the length.
I made this Romy tank with fabric from Zenith & Qasar. This is the Hubble collage print and it is currently at preorder.
This bolero style sits above the bust and allows the v neck to peek out. I think it's super cute and a little sexy.
I made this Romy with sweater knit and it's perfect for spring.
I am seriously obsessed with the Romy and made another after I took the photos above.
I made this Romy with liverpool.
I made this one to wear to work. I think it will be super cute with some black slacks.
Does anyone recognize this fabric? I made a G + G Picnic Dress with it a few years ago.
As I write this blog post, I have another Romy bolero cut out and waiting to be sewn in my sewing room. I'll be sure to share it very soon. I have a so many more planned.
The Romy is on sale for 25% off through Friday - February 8th.
