Ellie & Mac Good Vibes Joggers and Watch & See Tunic

It's Wacky Wednesday at Ellie & Mac. I'm excited to show not one, but two great patterns that are on sale today for only $1!

First off the Good Vibes Joggers.

 These joggers fit great - minus the fact, that the pair I made is too long.

They have zippered pockets! These were so easy to do! I did not have zippers the exact length needed, but shortened some I got from the ZipperStop in a mystery pack.

When I measured the inseam on the pattern, I found it to be 27" and knew these were cuffed. I thought the cuffs would be tight and that the length would have the perfect bagginess of joggers at the ankle.

Well, I was so wrong! The cuffs are not fitted and my Good Vibes Joggers were way too long. I did consider taking the cuffs off and shortening the legs and re-attaching the cuffs, but I folded up the cuffs and think they look really cute this way.

I never wear shirts tucked in, but did a French tuck in the photos above to show off my zippered pockets. Here's what the Good Vibes Joggers look like with my shirt untucked. My top is the Sinclair Patterns Shelby Tunic made with Sincerely Rylee Nala French Terry.

I used denim navy athletic brushed poly from Zenith & Quasar for my Good Vibes Joggers. I love this color and have another pair of pants made with it. They are a great faded denim color that can go with just about anything.

 Next is the Watch & See Tunic & Dress.

I made the tunic version of the Watch & See Tunic & Dress. I love the asymmetric hem.

I took 2" from the length of the Watch & See Tunic and found that the longer pointed end still fell below my knee by about 3" before hemming.

I liked the length of the shorter side, so I knew I would not want to cut any more length off from it.

Instead, I laid my top out flat on my cutting table and cut 2" off the longer side tapering to about the midline of the Watch & See Tunic.

So my asymmetrical hemline is not as dramatic as the pattern is drafted for. I really love it either way.
