New Mercy Quilt Pattern by Fieldstone Fabric

I have been wanting to make holiday themed quilts for using as a wall hanging or throw for decorating. When I saw the Fieldstone Fabric's New Mercy Quilt Pattern, I knew the baby sized would be perfect. I looked in my stash of fabric to see what holiday fabrics I wanted to use. I ended up settling on Christmas fabrics.

This pattern was easy and quick! The instructions are well written and was easy to follow.

I really loved that these fabrics were very heavy in blues and greens with just splashes  of red. The striped print is so fun and I already cut it and have it made into binding.

The New Mercy  Quilt Pattern uses flying geese, half square triangles and square in square blocks. It also has just square blocks. Some of my fabrics were directional. I only made sure to have the striped fabric all going the same direction. I didn't worry about the direction the other prints were going.

I think my quilt turned out so cute!

My plan is to make the quilt double sided with lunar new year prints on the reverse side. Then I can use it for two holidays.
