Elephant House Fabrics Sinclair Shelby Tunic

Elephant House Fabrics has the most amazing Harry Potter inspired round open now through May 16. It's called Happily Hogwarts.

When I got my strike offs in, I knew immediately that I wanted to make a swingy style tank top with the panel and coordinate. I'm in Texas and it's going to be HOT very very soon. The Shelby Tunic and Dress was the perfect pattern to use.


First - look at the Sky Panel! The background is just GORGEOUS! The seven horcruxes of Voldemort are a faux glittery gold.

The Shelby Tunic is the perfect basic pattern to do a little color blocking. I decided to use a scrap of my black mesh from Zenith & Quasar to offset the gorgeous Sky Coordinate. I still have a bit of the Sky Coordinate and have big plans for it.

I used the adult Sky Panel and it was the perfect size for a size 10 graded to 14 width Shelby Tunic.

I seriously can't get over this Sky Coordinate. The pattern practically makes my side seam disappear - like some Hogwarts Magic!
