Today is May 2 - My Birthday! I took today off from work. I plan to sleep in, go out for breakfast, do some sewing, take some long overdue photos of some recent makes I made in preparation of Me Made May, get a few blog posts ready to go, and maybe do a little housework. Maybe.

I joined the Sly Fox Fabrics promotion team last month. I was allowed to pick a fabric and a date to post my make. I fell in love with this single brushed poly -  Reminisce in Navy. This print and the colors are so ME! Since this was going to be a selfish sew I decided that I should make my post for my birthday!

 I decided to use the Sinclair Patterns Sienna Drawstring Dolman Top for my pattern. This pattern is free with a code from the Sinclair Patterns Facebook Group. It has two sleeve lengths - short and 3/4 (shown here).

When I initially cut the Sienna Drawstring Dolman Top out, I really thought it looked too long even though I printed the petite version. One thing that I love about Sinclair Patterns is that each pattern comes in petite, regular, and tall sizing. But  once you pull the drawstrings, the length is perfect!

This single brushed poly from Sly Fox Fabrics is so soft and has the perfect drape for this pattern.

I just love how my Sienna Drawstring Dolman Top came out! The Reminisce in Navy print was perfect for this pattern.

Then buy plenty of brushed poly and rayon spandex knits from Sly Fox Fabrics to make several. I know I need a few short sleeve versions for summer.
