Evening Sky Quilt by Frannie B Quilt Co.

I was a pattern tester for the Frannie B Quilt Company for the Evening Sky Quilt pattern. I love the quilt I made so much! I used scraps and remnants from other projects and had fun mixing  in a bunch of different prints.

The background is made with a chambray. I loved using chambray for the background and immediately ordered more chambray for another quilt. The Octopus print shown in this photo came from Minerva. I posted about this fabric on their website.

There are twenty big stars. There are ten sets of matching stars. The smaller stars are all the same and made of 4 different prints.

The stars a fun collection of prints and colors and love how they give a modern look to an otherwise traditional pattern.

I recently informed my family that I intended to carry on my Grandmother's tradition of gifting every family member a quilt. I am  starting with my Aunts and Cousins, and their children and then move onto extended family over the years. I'm posting photos of the quilts I made to an album on Facebook and telling everyone to let me know which they want or if they want to put in a request. I can't wait to see who picks this beauty as their heirloom from me.

The Evening Sky pattern was released along with two other complimentary patterns - Eclipse Quilt and the Eternal Quilt. Below are some close up photos of the different stars in my Evening Sky quilt.
